Soultaker - Slasher Sock 2.0
Soultaker is a half-black, half-speckled colorway with neon green accents.
This colorway is named after the quite terrible movie of the same name in which Robert Z'dar and Joe Estevez (the cheapest of the Estevez/Sheen clan) star as a weird grim reaper type of entities.
If you want to watch this movie, I'd recommend going for the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version.
This is one of our 'half dunk' colorways, which means that the 2 ends of the skein have a distinctly different color, with the colors meeting up in the middle. This yarn will pool/flash depending on how this colorway is knitted up. For sock knitters: you will probably get spiral or staggered lines out of this yarn.
Slasher Sock 2.0 is durable, warm, and really easy to work with. This blend of soft 75% superwash virgin wool and 25% nylon is versatile enough to be used for projects that call for a sturdy yarn that can take a beating. Slasher 2.0 is softer than most commercial 75/25 blend yarns out there. However, virgin wool is coarser than purely Merino yarn. Slasher is soft enough for durable garments as well as socks, blankets, and crochet projects.
This version replaces our old Slasher Sock and has the same characteristics. It takes the dye very vividly, is smooth to work with and comes in slightly shorter wound skeins.
