Simurgh - Gnarly Marly Merino Superwash
By Undercover Otter
In Persian legend Simurgh is a gigantic, winged monster in the shape of a bird; a kind of peacock with the head of a dog and the claws of a lion. Its natural habitat is a place with plenty of water.
According to legend, the creature is so old that it has seen the world destroyed three times over. In all that time, Simurgh has learned so much that it is thought to possess the knowledge of all ages.
That's the myth we based this beautiful violet, green and blue colorway on.
This is a one of a kind colorway.
Gnarly Marly Superwash (Fingering):
This ridiculously fun 2-toned yarn base is made with soft and bouncy 100% Superwash Merino. One ply is white throughout the skein and the other strand goes from white to black and back again, making for a playful marled look, without turning into bakers twine.
