Peach, Pink and Purple - Gradient Cake
By Undercover Otter
This gradient cake features a color shift from purple to peach and pink.
Gradient cakes are made by dyeing sock blanks. These knitted squares of yarn are dip-dyed for the fluid gradients and make for a great one skein project. These gradient cakes are made from a single strand of sock blanks. Due to the way sock blanks are knitted up, there are little areas where the colors are a bit lighter. Some cakes have tiny micro-speckles.
These babies are an extremely limited edition.
Jack snuck in an order of sock blanks, to tinker around with making long gradients, and in my humble opinion, they look pretty friggin' neat. We dyed only a few of them and there is no plan on restocking them in the near future.
Since February is Aiden's birthday month, let's celebrate with them!
