This colorway features a small strip dyed in sequence with the non-binary flag colors, and when knitted up, will yield you a non-binary stripe in your knitting. going from yellow to white, to purple, to black. On the ends of the 'flag', we started speckling with the colors yellow and black respectively, with in the middle of the skein a dash of purple.

This colorway is based on the Non-Binary flag
The NB flag was created in 2014 to represent people whose gender identity does not fit within the traditional male/female binary. Its colors symbolize those whose gender falls outside of and without reference to the binary (yellow), people with many or all genders (white), those whose gender identity falls somewhere between male/female or is a mix of them (purple), and people who feel they are without a gender (black).

Our 2021 Pride colorways are based on some of the colorful flags that make up the LGBTQI+ rainbow.
Part of the proceeds from these colorways are donated to Dutch and European organisations that support and educate queer people, their allies, and the general public.

The nylon in this base is biodegradable. It does not degrade until it reaches the garbage processing facility and special enzymes and micro-organisms are added to the waste. These break down the biodegradable nylon in the course of 3 years instead of the 40 years it takes most man-made fibers to be broken down.

This smooth 4-threaded fingering weight yarn base is a perfect mash up between the softness of merino wool and the longevity of nylon, with a biodegradable twist. It knits up perfectly for garments and other next-to-skin soft items. Socks, hats, sweaters, blankets... BIOSOCK can handle it all. BIOSOCK takes dye vividly, is soft, smooth and a delight to work with.

All purchases of 5 skeins or more are eligible for a 5% discount using discount code: SIZEUP

As a fat fabulous creature, I (Aiden) know how hard it can be to source enough yarn to make myself a sweater. What takes the 'average' person 4 - 5 skeins, takes me at least 6 and usually around 8 skeins. (I'm between a 134 cm / 54 inch torso circumference).
It makes knitting or crocheting garments with hand dyed yarn a pretty costly adventure, which is why I am now offering discounts for yarn quantities that are above average.

This discount applies to all of our hand dyed yarns (that are not on sale), and can be combined between bases and colorways. You could make that top that uses a bajillion colors, or just pick the skeins for a single color project.

I'm not plus size. Can I use these discount codes?
We will not police purchases and I will not exclude people from this discount based on their size. Hell, I encourage everyone who wants to use these codes for their 5+ skein purchases to use it. The economy is tight enough as it is and society already does enough excluding, no need for me to tack on some more.
