Blood Freak - Gnarly Marly Merino Superwash
By Undercover Otter
Blood Freak is a deliciously orange and pink colorway that we enriched with red and purple speckles. The colorway gets its name from the 1972 Hippie-esque horror movie by the same moniker, since the colors remind me of free and fun loving hippies...
The plot for this thing is wild, someone was on mushrooms when they wrote the script: "A biker comes upon a girl with a flat tire and offers her a ride home. He winds up at a drug party with the girl's sister, then follows her to a turkey farm owned by her father, a mad scientist. The father turns the biker into a giant turkey monster who goes after drug dealers."
I'm not making this shit up...
Gnarly Marly Superwash (Fingering):
This ridiculously fun 2-toned yarn base is made with soft and bouncy 100% Superwash Merino. One ply is white throughout the skein and the other strand goes from white to black and back again, making for a playful marled look, without turning into bakers twine.
